About

I work as a front-end engineer at Twitter. I've also taught as a lecturer at UC Berkeley's School of Information.

I received a master's degree in Information Management and Systems from UC Berkeley. Before that I studied philosophy at the University of Notre Dame until they handed me a degree and made me leave. I worked as an editor for Scholastic Magazine (no, not that one).

In between college and graduate school I worked as a volunteer with Holy Cross Associates in Chile for two years. My projects there included work with Fundación Contigo, a microcredit organization in Santiago, cooking at a meals-on-wheels-style program in the San Roque parish, and a variety of other social services at foster homes and nursing homes. I also wrote extensively about life in a Spanish-speaking country when you don't speak Spanish particularly well.

If you're interested in some of the things I've worked on, see my portfolio and projects. If you want to contact me, look at my contact information.
